The ASID Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is the Society’s flagship event and the leading professional gathering for adult and paediatric ID physicians, clinical microbiologists, public health leaders, One Health, veterinarian and ecology specialists, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, policy makers, and researchers across Australasia. Together, we shape the future of infectious diseases. 

 

Set against the backdrop of Hobart’s historic waterfront and kunanyi / Mount Wellington, this year’s theme — Exploring the Terrain: Humans, Vectors & Pathogens — highlights our deepening relationship with the natural environment, its ecosystems, and the evolving pathways of disease transmission.

Advanced Trainee Breakfast

Supporting the future of our community - one of the most popular sessions of the conference, the trainee breakfast provides an opportunity for the advanced trainees to present their work and share their experiences.

Accommodation

The ASID Secretariat has secured favourable accommodation rates at the Hotel Grand Chancellor for the Annual Scientific Meeting.

 

To find available accommodation for your stay, please enter your required check in and out dates and then select 'search'. Only the available options will display. Please select the room type preference. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the Secretariat (events@asid.net.au). The conference rates are applicable for three nights prior to the conference and for three nights post conference.

 

All amounts quoted are in Australian Dollars and are the total amount for your stay. Please ensure you have read the hotels terms and conditions on the Conference Website. 

 

At the time of booking on the registration form, you will be required to include a credit card as security for the booking. The card will be stored in a secure online system. The card will not be charged. It is security only and you will on arrival provide a credit card or other form of payment for the stay.

 

Accepted credit cards are Mastercard and Visa.
