Registration
Registration is open to members and non-members of ASID. Members are offered discount rates and part of their membership. Members will also have access to recoding's of the sessions in the member portal post event. If you are not a member and would like to become one to take advantage of the special discounts, please visit the membership page of the ASID website.

Membership Categories
Please see below category descriptions to ensure you register for the correct one:
Associate Member
Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia or overseas, who are not otherwise considered eligible for full membership or medical graduates undergoing advanced training in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology or other individuals with a keen interest in infectious diseases medicine. Associate members do not have voting rights.
Full Member
Applies to medical practitioners, scientists and healthcare professionals based in Australia or overseas, who have received appropriate post-graduate training and qualifications in infectious diseases medicine, microbiology or related fields, having regard to his/her contributions to the field of infectious diseases as represented by publications or as described by nominators, to further the aims of the Society. Full members have voting rights.
Continuing Education Points
Attendance at ASID Annual Scientific Meeting is eligible for CPD points with RACP and other organisations. At the close of the meeting, you will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance which you can submit with your claim for CPD points.
Cancellation
Cancellation Requests up to before 30 days prior to the conference
Registration cancellations and amendments must be notified in writing to the Secretariat. Cancellations or changes received before 30 days prior to the conference commencing will receive a refund less a 20% administration fee.
Cancellation Requests between 29-0 days prior to the conference
Cancellations and amendments received in writing 29-0 days prior to the conference commencing will not receive any refund, if cancellation is for medical purposes we can assist with any documentation required for your insurance claim.
Cancellation Requests between 29-0 days prior to the event due to Reasons out of the Delegate’s Control
If your request is due to reasons out of your control such as border closures and government restrictions preventing you from attending the conference, you must send your request in writing to events@asid.net.au. and provide proof for your request. After the deduction of a 30% administration fee the remaining cost will be refunded.
Cancellation of social functions
No refunds will be provided for social function tickets within 30 days of the function commencing. Tickets can be transferred to another name.
