50th Anniversary Gala Dinner – A Night to Remember

In 2026, ASID marks its 50th anniversary, and we’re celebrating in style. The Gala Dinner will be a true centrepiece of the ASM — an evening honouring five decades of excellence, impact and leadership in infectious diseases. Expect incredible company, inspiring reflections, entertainment as we celebrate the past, present and future of ASID.

Welcome Reception and Poster Viewing

Kick off the ASM with our Welcome Reception — the perfect opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, meet new delegates and ease into the conference in a relaxed, social setting. This event sets the tone for the days ahead, blending warm hospitality with the buzz of shared ideas and new connections.

Trainee Networking Event

For the first time we are offering a Trainee Networking Event prior to the conference commencement. Designed especially for our next generation of ID leaders, the Trainee Networking Event offers an informal, inclusive space to connect with peers. It’s a relaxed environment focused on new relationships, sharing experiences and building collaborations.

The evening is only for trainees. A limited selection of nibbles and beverages will be available and then you are welcome to continue the evening at your own pace.
